Our products are carefully finished with our own blend of special spices and ingredients to bring you a remarkable taste that is only available here in Solvang. Solvang Brewing Company’s fine ales are presently available only in the local area, guaranteeing a fresh and high quality product that is part of the Solvang experience.

In modern times, Surf Brewery® was the first packaging craft microbrewery in Ventura County CA, when opened June 2011. We continue the small business support and service by self distributing our kegs and bottles in Ventura County. We want to continue the great tradition of California breweries. Like Adam Schuppert Brewery, the first in California started in 1849, Anchor Brewering Co., considered the first craft beer in America and the New Albion Brewery, considered the first microbrewery in the United States. We strongly believe California beer is the best in the World!

Home to our 30-barrel brewhouse, canning line, and tasting room, The Rock features a taproom restaurant, catering kitchen, and event space. The casual setting is centered around “the rock”, with extensive landscaping, casual outdoor seating and fire pits. The Rock boasts one of the largest venues in San Luis Obispo County for corporate functions, weddings, and other celebratory events.

Located in the heart of downtown, SLO Brew – affectionately known as “The Brew” – is a neighborhood brewpub featuring our original 10-barrel brewing tanks and copper kettle, fresh local fare, an intimate music venue, whiskey lounge, fireside salon, and creekside patio. When the sun goes down, SLO Brew transforms into one of downtown’s best late night gathering spot for drinks and entertainment.

It seemed very natural to establish our brand with the Silva name since marrying in mid-2015. With Chuck’s contributions in the brewing industry for nearly 20 years, the Silva name has become popular for high quality, superior flavor, and innovation so we felt our brand would be very recognizable from the start. MJ’s support for this project has been pivotal in moving forward now rather than later.

Since 1994 Santa Maria Brewing Co. has been the best little brewery nobody knew about. Founded by Dan Hilker and Gary Ford, Santa Maria Brewing Co. is the best kept secret for those traveling up and down Highway 101 in California. With the incredible support of local clientele, Santa Maria stands tall, never sacrificing the quality of our award-winning beer.

A small group of friends and family partnered to create a lively, fun place to gather and enjoy delicious food and drink in the company of friends and neighbors.

What began as a dream turned into a reality after almost 1 year of renovations in the small sleepy surf town of Carpinteria, home of the classic longest right wave in the world, Rincon Surf Spot.
