In modern times, Surf Brewery® was the first packaging craft microbrewery in Ventura County CA, when opened June 2011. We continue the small business support and service by self distributing our kegs and bottles in Ventura County. We want to continue the great tradition of California breweries. Like Adam Schuppert Brewery, the first in California started in 1849, Anchor Brewering Co., considered the first craft beer in America and the New Albion Brewery, considered the first microbrewery in the United States. We strongly believe California beer is the best in the World!

Home to our 30-barrel brewhouse, canning line, and tasting room, The Rock features a taproom restaurant, catering kitchen, and event space. The casual setting is centered around “the rock”, with extensive landscaping, casual outdoor seating and fire pits. The Rock boasts one of the largest venues in San Luis Obispo County for corporate functions, weddings, and other celebratory events.

Located in the heart of downtown, SLO Brew – affectionately known as “The Brew” – is a neighborhood brewpub featuring our original 10-barrel brewing tanks and copper kettle, fresh local fare, an intimate music venue, whiskey lounge, fireside salon, and creekside patio. When the sun goes down, SLO Brew transforms into one of downtown’s best late night gathering spot for drinks and entertainment.

It seemed very natural to establish our brand with the Silva name since marrying in mid-2015. With Chuck’s contributions in the brewing industry for nearly 20 years, the Silva name has become popular for high quality, superior flavor, and innovation so we felt our brand would be very recognizable from the start. MJ’s support for this project has been pivotal in moving forward now rather than later.

Since 1994 Santa Maria Brewing Co. has been the best little brewery nobody knew about. Founded by Dan Hilker and Gary Ford, Santa Maria Brewing Co. is the best kept secret for those traveling up and down Highway 101 in California. With the incredible support of local clientele, Santa Maria stands tall, never sacrificing the quality of our award-winning beer.

What began as a dream turned into a reality after almost 1 year of renovations in the small sleepy surf town of Carpinteria, home of the classic longest right wave in the world, Rincon Surf Spot.

We love living in this cozy coastal community. One aspect is that bicycle transportation here is practical and fun.

The taproom is made entirely from locally recycled Santa Barbara wood inside the 2,000 square foot warehouse. As you venture deeper into the building you will be exposed to the full operation, complete with a large walk-in fridge, a 15-barrel brewhouse, three 30-barrel fermenters and a 30-barrel brite tank.

In particular QTR Construction, DCW services refrigeration, REM Electric, and Greg Rents, as well as Quick Plumbing of Camarillo.

The path to opening our first tasting room in Grover Beach happened in September of 2012 and was truly a labor of love. All along, we have been focused on crafting delicious, compelling brews and to nurturing the amazing camaraderie that arose in the earliest days of ManRock, among our patrons.

All our beers are brewed  on our 3-vessel 15 bbl Premier Stainless brewing system. From recipe development, ingredient selection, brewing process and packaging, every beer is artfully crafted by our brew team in Camarillo,CA. Quality and consistency are at the forefront of each batch as we strive to produce world-class, innovative takes on traditional styles. Beers are packaged in kegs (5.2 gallon or 15.5 gallon) or canned on our Wild Goose Canning line. Cans are sold in 16 oz. 4-packs exclusively in both our tasting rooms- check out our cans page for current can availability.

Hollister Brewing Company (HBC) was established in May 2007 with a vision of creating a fun, relaxing establishment offering handcrafted beer to complement handcrafted food.

Doc’s Cellar started in 1992 by a local Central Coast Fermentation aficionado. We are continuing the tradition of selling top shelf supply for the home wine, beer and spirits creators.  

Welcome to Dead Oak Brewing Company. We envisioned opening a small, family-owned brewery back in 2011, and at the time, it seemed like a far-off dream. Starting out as a labor of love in our garage in 2008, Bittersweet Brewing Company is our dream come true. We opened our doors December 2018. As a father-son team, we have enjoyed learning about the culture of craft beer. Born and raised on the Central Coast, we are excited to share our passion with the community we love!​

Greeting from Cambria’s only brewery! Located at 821 Cornwall Street in Cambria’s West Village, we’re just off Main Street next to the public parking lot on the corner of Sheffield St and Cornwall. We’re open 7 days a week. Monday through Saturday we’re open from Noon to 7PM. Sunday Noon to 6PM.

Our Salinas Production Brewery opened in April of 2016 to supplement house offerings at the Brewery & Grill in Monterey, and allow us to supply draft beer to quality minded local establishments.

Ever since I was young I observed my father working and noticed he was happiest when he was working for himself doing what he loved, I knew then and there that I wanted to be in control of my own destiny and run a business of my own. I had no idea what and where this would lead me, but whatever it was I didn’t want to feel bored or unfulfilled working for someone else and fulfilling their dream.
